Reading Science Geeks
We are a group of Sydney-based cognitive scientists, psycholinguists, and education researchers who are interested in understanding everything involved in reading.
We, as a group, investigate the cognitive and neural mechanisms that underpin reading from early development to skilled comprehension across the lifespan. Using eye-tracking, neurophysiological techniques such as EEG and MEG, computational modelling, and tightly controlled behavioural and classroom-based experiments, we generate evidence that advances reading theory and informs evidence-based literacy practice.
